TELEMEDICINE SERVICES
Telemedicine is a cutting-edge approach to psychiatry that allows patients in outlying areas who cannot reach the Center to access psychiatric services in the comfort of their local practitioner's office. Telemedicine involves using a computer complete with video and audio for evaluation and follow-up with a geriatric psychiatrist. This service is covered by Medicare. Telemedicine services are now available and are expanding.
